Emerging Nordic talent in focus at CineCoPro Conference at Munich International Film Festival
The CineCoPro Conference 2026 at FILMFEST MÜNCHEN – Munich International Film Festival – focuses on The Five Nordics and its most promising emerging producers. An expansive film program, deep-dive master classes, pitching and networking opportunities including a legendary river raft ride will bring together talents from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden in Munich and connect them with German producers.
A strong sign of cooperation and coproduction with and out of Bavaria and the whole of Germany, three days in the heart of the festival (June 30 – July 2) will be dedicated once more to the art of co-production. Producers from Germany will once again meet producers from a wide variety of countries. Together with numerous local, national, and international partners, the Munich International Film Festival invites producers to discuss the chances and challenges of international co-production.
“Co-production in general and our multi-faceted CineCoPro Conference have become a central anchor at the festival and a way forward for the German film industry. Fostering international and European perspectives and collaboration seems more important than ever. We are very happy to share this vision with our local and international partners”, comment Christoph Gröner and Julia Weigl, artistic directors of FILMFEST MÜNCHEN.
As usual, the event takes place in the typical relaxed FILMFEST MÜNCHEN atmosphere. Our mix of events will not only take place at our festival center, but also within our Beergarden Convention and on the traditional Isar raft trip.
The focus will be accompanied by a wide range of Nordics films within in the film program of the festival.
